Delete your account

We understand that you may need to delete your Chessing account. This page will guide you through the process and help you understand what happens when you delete your account.

Account deletion is permanent after the grace period ends. We want to make sure you have all the information you need before making this decision.

What will be deleted

When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:

  • Your chess progress and ratings
  • All saved puzzle annotations
  • Personal learning insights
  • Account settings and preferences
  • Subscription and billing information

What we keep

For legal and operational reasons, we retain some information:

  • Support conversation history for 30 days
  • Anonymous usage data for platform improvement

Grace period

You have 30 days to change your mind. During this time, your account will be deactivated but not permanently deleted. You can contact our support team to restore your account within this period.

After 30 days pass, deletion becomes final and cannot be undone.
